Laparoscopy
Laparoscopy is a surgical procedure, performed under a general anesthetic, where a tiny camera is introduced into the abdominal cavity or pelvis through small incisions (usually 0.5–1.5 cm) located around the belly button. Laparoscopy can be used to inspect and diagnose a condition or to perform surgery. Common laparoscopic procedures performed by Dr. Duke include excision of endometriosis, chromotubation, excision of pelvic scar tissue and excision of ovarian cysts.
